Cowboys news: While talks continue, CeeDee Lamb just keeps working hard...

Report: “expected” communication between the Cowboys and CeeDee Lamb’s agent this weekend – Brandon Loree, BTB Maybe this weekend will be the turning point. With 16 days until the team’s first game against the Cleveland Browns, things could get dangerously tense. Hopefully, Lamb’s holdout can end this weekend when his agent, Tony Dandy, and the team talk. Lamb hasn’t been a part of the team’s offseason programming. If his return to the team is imminent, fans have been wondering how long it will take for Lamb to acclimate himself to football shape. Fortunately, he has been working out on his own in Florida with Dr. Sharif Tabbah of Alkeme Sports and his offseason position coach Delfonte Diamond. The Cowboys wide receiver recently shared a workout video.

 

He went on, “Control what I can control, which is to be the best version of myself.”

In their contract talks, Lamb and the Cowboys “aren’t all that far apart,” according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

 

Dallas may be under pressure to close a contract if Lamb continues to withhold himself from training camp in order to guarantee his availability for the team’s Week 1 clash against the Cleveland Browns on September 8.

174: Caelen Carson, CB, in Round 5. Because of his ability to play hard on the outside and get the ball, he has been one of the biggest surprises of camp. The Cowboys wouldn’t think twice about using him if something were to happen to the top three corners.

 

WR Ryan Flournoy, round six (number 266). Although he has shown promise and good hands, consistency has been a problem. He may fit in there if the Cowboys go with six receivers.

 

Round 7: Nathan Thomas, OL (No. 233). He could not practice.
