Zack used to play football and is currently a professional coach. He started his NFL career as a professional when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him in the 2007 NFL Draft. He was done playing football before his career had started. Before the season began, Taylor was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and with that, he never played in any season thus ending his career as a football player.
Despite not having the NFL career he had hoped for, he had a very prosperous collegiate career. Throughout his collegiate career, Zack attended many colleges and participated on a wide range of teams. In 2002 and 2003, he attended Wake Forest University. In 2004, he moved to Butler Community College. In 2005, he made another transfer, this time to the University of Nebraska. With the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team in 2006, Taylor had his greatest season throwing for 3,197 yards and 26 touchdowns.
