At the age of 33, Craig Roh, a well-liked former defensive lineman in the Canadian Football League (CFL), passed away. On February 26th, Chelsea Roh announced on Instagram that Craig’s 18-month battle with Stage IV Colon Cancer has come to an end.
Career Highlights and Legacy
With the B.C. Lions in 2015, Roh made his CFL debut and showed off his potential over the course of three seasons with some amazing figures. During his stint, he recorded 20 sacks and 64 defensive tackles. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ 2018 squad was then strengthened by him, and this helped them win the Grey Cup in 2019. In 2020, Roh’s career path also brought him a brief time with the Toronto Argonauts, albeit he was unable to participate due to the cancelation of the season.
After finishing his playing career, Roh became a coach and founded D-Line University. His dedication to imparting his knowledge and enthusiasm for the game was exemplified by this online tutoring platform. He gathered a sizable internet following, demonstrating his importance off the field.
