Stronghold LAUDERDALE — Dwayne Haskins was dealing with a second part for his young NFL vocation. The 24-year-old quarterback was investing energy for certain colleagues with the Pittsburgh Steelers, preparing to vie for a beginning position.

Haskins was killed early Saturday morning when he was hit by a dump truck while he was strolling on a South Florida roadway. Florida Interstate Watch representative Lt. According to Indiana Miranda, Haskins died on the spot.

I’m sure I’m speaking on behalf of the entire team when I say that he will be greatly missed. Our whole group is sending our ardent sympathies and considerations and petitions to the Haskins family as of now.”
Ohio State posted a photograph of Haskins on its Twitter channel, bested by the depiction “Pioneer. Legend. Perpetually a Buckeye.”
At Ohio State, Haskins set single-season standards for scores passing with 50 and yards passing with 4,831. He was the 2019 Rose Bowl MVP as the Buckeyes went 13-1.
Ohio State mentor Ryan Day, who was the quarterbacks mentor during Haskins’ last season at the school, referred to Haskins’ demise as “past grievous.”
“For the people who knew him intently, he was substantially more than an incredible football player,” Day posted on Twitter. ” He had a goliath heart, well grounded person and an irresistible grin. The Ohio State people group and our whole football program are crushed.”
